Thomas Pugh

Tom Pugh has been a faculty member of the Florida A&M University School of Architecture since 1987. Prior to coming to FAMU, Professor Pugh was on the faculty of the School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and was President of Thomas D. Pugh Construction Co., Inc. He spent one year as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven in The Netherlands and has traveled extensively and has lectured on three continents.

Professor Pugh directs the Institute for Building Sciences, the center of the School's research and service activity, and has taught courses in 3rd- and 4th-Year Design, Materials and Methods of Construction, and Environmental Technologies.

Mr. Pugh enjoys woodworking and photography and is active in numerous church and community service activities.
