Robert T. Goodwin, Jr., R.A. Robert Goodwin has been a faculty member at the Florida A & M University School of Architecture since 1996. Prior to that he was Director of Facilities Planning and Construction at FAMU since 1986. Professor Goodwin worked in several private firms in Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN, and Tuskegee, AL before coming to FAMU, gaining valuable experience. He was born in Lancaster, SC but was raised in Tuskegee Institute, AL where both his parents were faculty members. Professor Goodwin has taught numerous courses including Materials & Methods of Construction; Introduction to Technology in Architecture; Architecture as a Business; second-, third-, and fifth-year Design. In addition, he and his wife own and operate a private practice. |
