Deborah LaGrasse

Deborah LaGrasse, Associate in Architecture, has been the supervisor of the Building Construction Lab for the School of Architecture since 1994. She is knowledgeable in all building and model-making construction including: fabrication, casting, carving, and mold-making techniques in all materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, masonry, plaster, and metal. Deborah is a sculptor who taught sculpture at the university level for eight years prior to coming to the SOA. She has large-scale outdoor sculpture in collections in the Southeast and has had numerous exhibitions nationally and internationally. Deborah received the Bachelor of Art in painting from the University of Florida in Gainesville and the Master of Fine Arts from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL.
