Program Description The Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies (BSArch) degree is a four-year pre-professional program that offers a broad-based education in the fundamentals of architecture. It is divided into pre-architecture (years one and two--lower division) and architecture (years three and four--upper division). Students may be admitted as freshmen or as transfer students. The curriculum includes requirements in mathematics, physics, social sciences, and humanities. Course sequences in architecture include architectural design, history and theory, structures, environmental technology, and materials and methods of construction. Qualified BSArch graduates are eligible for admission into one of the professional architecture or landscape architecture programs (BArch, MArch, or MLArch) offered at Florida A & M and throughout the country.
