Items needed for application for admission to the Master of Landscape Architecture are:

A letter expressing educational and career goals,
Résumé,
Samples of recent design and scholarly work (if available),
Three letters of reference, and
A completed FAMU graduate application form with transcript.

The School prefers that students begin the MLA program in the fall. For U.S. students, applications will be considered according to the following calendar:

Summer Semester admission	Applications received by February 1
Fall Semester admission	Applications received by May 1
Spring Semester admission	Applications received by November 1

Applications received after these dates will be considered on a space-available basis.

All international students must submit applications by January 15.
