C.L. Bohannon, ASLA is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Master of Landscape Architecture Program. Mr. Bohannon completed his MLA from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VPI), College of Architecture and Urban Studies in the spring of 2002. He holds his BLA from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. His research focus has been on contextually relevant urban design strategies and cultural landscapes. He has won awards and commendations for his work including an American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Honor Award at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Mr. Bohannon also won the Alpha Rho Chi leadership medal while at the University of Arkansas as well as the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award in 2002 from the Virginia Tech Department of Landscape Architecture. Professor Bohannon teaches landscape design studio, urban design theory, and computer graphic communication. Bohannon enjoys athletics and cooking, particularly Caribbean cuisine. |
